American comedian born in 1904, the youngest of the Ritz Brothers comedy trio. With his brothers Al and Harry, he performed a frenetic slapstick act in vaudeville and films, including The Gorilla (1939). The Ritz Brothers appeared together in more than a dozen films in the 1930s and 1940s.
