Isabel Jeans

British film and stage actress, born in 1891. She had a long career on the London stage and appeared in several British silent films, including Alfred Hitchcock's Easy Virtue (1928) and Downhill (1927). She continued acting in film into the 1960s, often in grande-dame roles, including Hitchcock's Stage Fright (1950).
