Irving Pichel

American actor and director, born in 1891. He began as a stage and screen actor before turning to directing in the 1940s. He directed The Most Dangerous Game (1932) co-direction and later Quicksand (1950). He also narrated the original The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951).
