Irene Rich

American actress whose career spanned the silent and sound eras, born in 1891. She was a leading lady for Warner Bros. in the 1920s and a favorite of John Ford, appearing in films such as Beau Brummel (1924) and Beau Ideal (1931). She later moved successfully into character roles and radio. She died in 1988.
