American comedian born in 1903, the middle brother of the Ritz Brothers comedy trio. With his brothers Al and Jimmy, he performed a wild slapstick act in vaudeville and films, including The Gorilla (1939). The Ritz Brothers were known for their physical comedy and absurd routines.
