Harry Fraser

American film director and screenwriter of the sound era, born in 1892. He directed low-budget features across genres, including the all-Black race film Dark Manhattan (1937), which he co-directed with its star Ralph Cooper. He worked primarily for independent producers throughout the 1930s and 1940s.
