American silent film actress, born in 1894. She appeared in numerous films of the 1910s and 1920s, including *Oliver Twist* (1922) as Nancy opposite Lon Chaney's Fagin. She successfully transitioned to sound films but died in 1929 following injuries sustained in a car accident.
