George Siegmann

American silent film actor, born in 1882. He appeared in many notable silent films, often playing villains or heavies. His credits include *The Birth of a Nation* (1915), *Intolerance* (1916), and *Oliver Twist* (1922) as Bill Sikes. He died in 1928.
