George F. Marion

American stage and film actor, born in 1860. He created the role of Chris Christopherson in the original Broadway production of Eugene O'Neill's *Anna Christie* in 1921, and reprised it in the 1923 silent film adaptation. He also appeared in the 1930 sound version with Greta Garbo. He died in 1945.
