Fred Thomson

American actor and minister, born in 1890. He became a popular leading man in silent westerns and adventure films of the 1920s, often performing his own stunts. He starred opposite Mary Pickford in The Love Light (1921) and headlined his own series of westerns for Film Booking Offices of America. He was one of the highest-paid cowboy stars of the era before his sudden death in 1928.
