Frank Tuttle

American film director, born in 1892. A director at Paramount during the early sound era, he directed Sweetie (1929) starring Nancy Carroll and Helen Kane. His other credits include This Gun for Hire (1942) with Alan Ladd and Veronica Lake. He died in 1963.
