Frank R. Strayer

American film director (1896-1964) who directed numerous B-movies and serials from the 1920s through the 1950s. He directed The Monster Walks (1932), an early "old dark house" horror film, and the Blondie film series in the 1940s. Strayer was a prolific director for independent studios like Action Pictures and Monogram.
