Frank Mayo

American film actor, born 1889 in New York. A reliable leading man of the silent era, he appeared in dozens of features through the 1910s and 1920s, including Souls for Sale (1923) opposite Eleanor Boardman. His career tapered with the coming of sound, and he spent his later years in smaller roles and on the stage. He died in 1963.
