Francis X. Bushman
1 credit on HibingeTV
American actor, director, and screenwriter, born Francis Xavier Bushman in 1883. One of the biggest stars of the silent era, he was known as "the most handsome man in the world" and appeared in more than 200 films. His most famous role is Messala opposite Ramon Novarro in Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ (1925). His enormous popularity in the 1910s was derailed by a scandal over his secret second marriage, and his career never fully recovered, though he continued working in character roles for decades.
