Elmer Clifton

American film director, actor, and producer. Born in 1890, he began his career as an actor in silent films, appearing in D.W. Griffith's The Birth of a Nation (1915) and Intolerance (1916). He later transitioned to directing, helming low-budget features and serials throughout the 1920s and 1930s. His credits include Let 'Er Go Gallegher (1928).
