Edward Halperin

American film producer, brother and collaborator of director Victor Halperin. He produced White Zombie (1932), the early Bela Lugosi horror film, financing it independently for around fifty thousand dollars. The Halperin brothers were among the first to exploit the zombie concept on screen.
