Dwight Frye

American actor who played Renfield in Dracula (1931) and Fritz in Frankenstein (1931). His portrayal of the bug-eating, giggling Renfield is one of the most memorable supporting performances in horror history. He was typecast in madman roles for the rest of his career. He died of a heart attack in 1943 at age 44.
