Dorothy Dwan

American actress of the silent era, born in 1906. She appeared in a string of comedy features in the 1920s, often opposite Larry Semon, whom she later married. Her best-known role is Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz (1925). She retired from acting shortly after the arrival of sound film.
