Dave O'Brien

American film actor and director. Born in 1912, he appeared in numerous B-films of the 1930s and 1940s, including the East Side Kids series. He played Knuckles Dolan in Boys of the City (1940). He later became a prolific director of industrial films and educational shorts, including the popular "Pete Smith Specialties" series for MGM.
