Clara Kimball Young

American actress, born in 1890. A major star of the silent era, she appeared in The Rogues' Tavern (1936) as Mrs. Jamison. She began her career in vaudeville before becoming one of the highest-paid actresses of the 1910s, founding her own production company. Her career declined with the advent of sound, and she spent her later years in character roles.
