Claire Adams

Canadian-American film actress. Born in 1899, she appeared in silent films of the 1910s and 1920s, often in leading lady roles. Her credits include The Penalty (1920) as Barbara Ferris, the sculptor daughter of the doctor targeted by Lon Chaney's character. She retired from acting in the late 1920s and became a prominent socialite in England.
