Betty Bronson

American film actress, born in 1906. She was chosen by J.M. Barrie himself to play the title role in the 1924 film of Peter Pan, and became a popular leading lady in the late silent period. She appears in The Singing Fool (1928) opposite Al Jolson. Her film career faded with the arrival of sound and she made only a few later appearances.
