American stage and film actress, born in 1891. A veteran of vaudeville and silent serials, she played Queen Anne in The Iron Mask (1929) opposite Douglas Fairbanks and had a substantial silent career as a character actress. Her roles grew fewer with the coming of sound, and she died in 1932.
