Barton MacLane

American actor, born 1902. Known for his tough-guy roles in films including The Maltese Falcon (1941) and on television as Marshal Frank Ragan on the Western series Outlaws (1960-1962). He had a long career in both film and television, often playing authority figures and villains. He died in 1969.
