Arthur Hoyt

American character actor, born in 1874. With a long career stretching from the silent era into the 1950s, he was often cast as butlers, clerks, and mild-mannered professionals. His silent credits include Camille (1921); his sound credits include Preston Sturges' Sullivan's Travels (1941). He died in 1953.
