American actor born in 1921 who worked often in Roger Corman's low-budget films of the late 1950s. He played the suave café owner Leonard in A Bucket of Blood (1959) and appeared in Corman's Creature from the Haunted Sea (1961) and The Last Woman on Earth (1960). He also had a career in television, with guest roles on shows including The Rockford Files and The Wild Wild West.
