Santa Claus

René Cardona's wildly strange Mexican Christmas fantasy. Santa lives not at the North Pole but in a castle in the sky, where he watches Earth's children through a spyglass eye and fights off the demon Pitch, sent by Lucifer to turn the kids of the world bad — starting with a poor girl who just wants a doll. The English dub distributed by K. Gordon Murray became a staple of American holiday television and a Mystery Science Theater 3000 favorite. The film is in the public domain in the United States.
