Winkler Pictures

American film production and distribution company founded by Margaret J. Winkler, one of the earliest women film producers in Hollywood. Winkler Pictures produced and distributed the Oswald the Lucky Rabbit cartoons directed by Walt Disney in the late 1920s, as well as the early Felix the Cat and Koko the Clown shorts. The company was later run by Margaret's husband, Charles Mintz.
