Terrytoons

American animation studio founded by Paul Terry in 1929 and based in New Rochelle, New York. The studio produced theatrical cartoon shorts for distribution by 20th Century Fox, featuring characters such as Mighty Mouse, Heckle and Jeckle, Gandy Goose, and Deputy Dawg. Terrytoons was known for its high output and economical production methods.
