Mary Pickford Film Corporation

American film production company founded in 1916 by Mary Pickford. It produced her independent features for distribution through Artcraft Pictures and later United Artists, giving Pickford rare creative and financial control for a woman of the era. Notable productions include A Romance of the Redwoods (1917) and many of her best-known starring vehicles.
