Mack Sennett Comedies

2 films on HibingeTV

American film production company founded by Mack Sennett after he left Keystone. Operating through the 1920s, it produced the two-reel and feature comedies that defined the Sennett style, including The Extra Girl (1923) and The Daredevil (1923), starring Mabel Normand and Ben Turpin. The company distributed through Associated Exhibitors and later Pathé, and was the last producing home of Sennett's brand of slapstick before he moved to Educational and then Columbia in the sound era.
