Production company formed by ten Pittsburgh filmmakers who pooled their money to make Night of the Living Dead (1968). The group included George A. Romero, Russell Streiner, Karl Hardman, and others. Each contributed around 600 dollars to the production. Image Ten never made another film, but Night of the Living Dead launched Romero's career and created the modern zombie genre.
