American film production company founded by brothers Al and Charles Christie in 1915. Based in Hollywood, Christie Film Company specialized in comedy shorts, including the Vanity Comedies series. The company was one of the first studios to focus exclusively on short comedies and employed many of the era's top comedy talent. Al Christie produced and directed while Charles handled the business operations.
