American animation studio founded by Harry "Bud" Fisher, creator of the Mutt and Jeff comic strip. The studio produced animated shorts featuring the popular comic duo from 1913 to 1926, distributed by Fox Film Corporation. The series was one of the earliest successful animated film franchises.
