Blender Foundation

Dutch non-profit organization responsible for the development of Blender, the free and open-source 3D creation suite. The foundation has produced several "open movies" — short animated films created entirely with open-source software and released under Creative Commons licenses — including Elephants Dream (2006), Big Buck Bunny (2008), Sintel (2010), and Tears of Steel (2012).
